This 1950s retro diner-themed restaurant in the Grossmont Center food court also serves a variety of other comfort foods such as hot dogs, chicken wings, sandwiches, and fried shrimp with their own unique twist. You have a choice to make it a combo come with fries or you can add on a side dish such as chili, onion rings, or Burgers, Fish & Fries’s renowned fried zucchini.

Food was really good, including a real hand grilled quality beef burger, lightly battered fish that was really decent fish, damn good steak fries, and a soft drink. The number one thing for me was the warm welcoming person-friendly service. The ambiance is pretty cool, slick fifties throwback. Very clean and air conditioned. To me quality service and environment matter as much as the food, and Roya offered me very attentive service. Super cheep considering what they offer. This place crushes the competition.
